Access by Highway
The Town of Englehart is conveniently located on the north-south axis of the Trans Canada Highway (#11). The location of the community on the highway affords easy access to all major routes in and through Northern Ontario.
Access by Bus
The Ontario Northland offers both passenger and parcel/courier services throughout Northern Ontario with connections to all points in Canada and the United States.
Access by Rail
The Ontario Northland railway offers cargo services southbound to Toronto and northbound to Cochrane. This line is linked to the Canadian Pacific Railway at North Bay and the Canadian National Railway at Cochrane. A station in downtown Englehart is the arrival and departure point.

Air Travel
The Earlton/Temiskaming Regional Airport is a private airport at Earlton just 15 minutes by road from Englehart. The airport is an important transportation link for more than 30, 000 residents of the District of Central Temiskaming. Located 2.5 km west of the town of Earlton, the airport also serves the communities of Englehart, Elk Lake, Latchford and other towns and townships of the surrounding agricultural area. There is a 6000 ft. x 150 ft. asphalt runway and a 301 ft. x 150 ft. gravel runway. The Earlton/Temiskaming Regional Airport is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and it noted for it's accessibility in most types of weather due to the flat, agricultural terrain in which it is situated.
